The Amazing Spider-Man 2 LEGO Display Contest

Where: Pacific Library, 25 4th Avenue
What: Build a scene from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 out of LEGOS for Brooklyn Public Library’s display contest for a chance to win a pizza party for the Pacific Branch. Because of the small pieces, this is suggested for kids ages 6-12, and children under 5 should be monitored by an adult.

It’s An Orange Aardvark! Storytime

Where: Barnes & Noble, 267 7th Avenue
What: Ants and aardvarks and rainbows, oh my! Enjoy the story and then stay for some activities afterwards.

What: Celebrate Earth Day by learning about responsible fishing from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, cleaning up the lakeshore, learning about birds of prey, and making your own instrument using recycled materials. Plus, enjoy a performance and parade by Bash the Trash.

What: Families with kids ages 3-5 will enjoy stories and activities designed to encourage the development of early learning skills, helping you and your child get ready for school. Families will receive free materials to continue the learning and fun at home.
