Plan accordingly: we’ve got service changes this weekend on the F and G trains. If you’re relying on either train to get to 4th Avenue-9th Street, it’s going to be a little trickier than usual.

No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets and Church Avenue
11:45 p.m. Friday – 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 1 – 4
No G service at Bergen Street, Carroll Street, 4 Av-9 St, 7 Av, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy.

Coney Island-bound F trains run express from Jay St-MetroTech to Church Avenue
11:45 p.m. Friday – 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 1 – 4
No F service at Bergen Street, Carroll Street, 4 Av-9 St, 7 Av, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy. Trains will stop at 7 Avenue.

For service to 4 Avenue – 9 Street Station, take the F to 7 Avenue and transfer to the Jamaica-bound F train, or transfer to the R at Jay St-MetroTech.

Schedules are subject to change; check in with the MTA Weekender.

Just curious: Why is it helpful to give only two service advisories in a vacuum? People in Park Slope do have to know how to get around the rest of the city too, and even hyperlocal sites should think about the needs of their readers in that regard.

I hear your point, Benjamin. We like to post the information specific to the lines that hit Park Slope, since those are the ones most likely to affect our readers, and going beyond that would end up turning into basically a regurgitation of the entire weekender post. But, as always, we do include the link to the general service advisory page!
