G-train riders are banding together in hopes of improving the Brooklyn-Queens train.

Riders Alliance is coordinating volunteers to collect signatures this Saturday, January 5, for a petition which asks the MTA for an increase in G train frequency, free out-of-system transfers from the Broadway G stop to Hewes or Lorimer and the Fulton G stop to Atlantic/Barclays, and an improvement in communication with riders.

The group is meeting in Williamsburg at noon at Second Stop Cafe, located at 524 Lorimer Street. After petitioning, enjoy a free lunch, courtesy of Riders Alliance, with your fellow volunteers.

To sign up, RSVP here.
