Fourth Avenue is about to go through some changes. Do you have some great ideas for making it better? Sharing them is a little easier with the launch of the NYC Department of Transportation’s interactive suggestion tool.
The online tool will allow users to submit their own ideas and see what others in the community are saying. Since it’s a visual tool, using Google street view, the comments and suggestions are tagged at their point of reference.
Some suggestions so far include more sidewalk space near the subways at President and Union Streets, daylighting the corners at Baltic Street, and installing bike lanes.
The tool is available here; just find the location you need and click the “Add a Comment” button. Comments will be accepted until mid-March, so add your input soon!
