This weekend’s open house picks are all about the outdoors. Private roof decks, balconies, multiple exposures: you’re soaking in the sun one way or another. Here’s to warmer days.

This one-bedroom condo gives a fairly spacious and open layout, with the bedroom opening up to the living room by sliding door. The apartment features plenty of three large closets (though none in the bedroom), as well as some lovely features like hardwood floors, a working wood-burning fireplace, tin ceilings throughout, and treetop exposures. Washer and dryer hookup is available, but you’d have to buy new machines. Also you have access to a private roof deck! Keep in mind, though, that it is on the fourth floor of a walk-up building. Brown Harris Stevens lists it at $499,000 ($447 maintenance).

Not going to lie, this place seems sort of like a dream. It’s a two-bedroom/two-bath floor-through apartment with balconies at both ends (a modest one off the smaller bedroom, and a huge one off the living room) and beautiful French doors leading out of the master bedroom to a balconette (which is almost like a balcony). The modern kitchen has plenty of counter space, which doubles as a breakfast-bar space. Washer and dryer are in-unit, and the place has central air and heat. Best of all: direct keyed elevator access! Just the coolest. Although, on third glance at the floorplan, I’m noticing that there are only two closets in the whole place (none in the second bedroom). So, there’s that. Corcoran lists it at $825,000 ($336 maintenance).

Open House: Sunday February 24, 12:00-2:00 p.m.
This big and bright 3-bedroom/2-bath apartment is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances, subway tile counters, and a marble island/breakfast bar with seating for four and opens to a spacious living and dining area (pictured above). The master bedroom is on the opposite side of the other two bedrooms, and has an en suite full bathroom and two large closets (one of which is walk-in). Closet space and hookup is available for a washer and dryer, though laundry is available in the basement as well. Also in the building? A parking garage! With a “short wait list” and “well under-market monthly fee.” Last but not least, the pet-friendly building also has a private roof deck with lovely views. Brown Harris Stevens lists it at $1,299,000 ($1,930 maintenance).
