Park Slope Open House Picks

619 3rd St via Corcoran
Looking for a new place to call home? You’re in luck — this is one of the busiest weekends we’ve seen in a while for open houses. We’ve rounded up a few of them and have broken down the offerings below. What do you think?

619 3rd Street
Open House:
Sunday, March 16, 12-1:30pm
List Price:
$4,100,000, via Corcoran
Details:
If you like Victorian details, you’ll love this four-story limestone (pictured above) that’s half a block from Prospect Park. Lovely woodwork from the floors to the ceilings, and one of the most interesting sets of windows we’ve ever seen. It’s got 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the basement could be used as a rental apartment.

91 Garfield Place
Open House:
Saturday, March 15 & Sunday, March 16, 1-2:30pm
List Price:
$2,800,000, via Keystone Realty
Details:
We last looked at this space a month ago, and the description remains mostly the same — a legal four-family with three 1.5-bedroom apartments and one 1-bedroom apartment. What has changed? They’ve now got a realtor, and the price has come down by $500,000.

364 Butler Street
Open House:
Sunday, March 16, 2:30-4pm
List Price:
$2,195,000, via Corcoran
Details:
A three-family home on this odd little block across the street from PS 133 that reminds us of southwestern suburbs, with a row of homes built in the 1980s that all look alike. Part of that suburban-ness may be the driveways, and this home is no exception — if you’re looking for a place that comes with parking, this is one of the rare ones in the neighborhood.

309 2nd Street, #3A
Open House:
Sunday, March 16, 1-3pm
List Price:
$1,295,000, common charges $580, via Brown Harris Stevens
Details:
This is a two-bed, two-bath condo with central AC, deeded on-site parking, and a private terrace. If you want more outdoor space, there’s a shared roof deck, and Washington Park is a short walk away. The only problem you may encounter with the building’s outdoor space is that it may overlook the coming construction of a new building nearby.

118 St Marks Place, #2
Open House:
Sunday, March 16, 1-2:30pm
List Price:
$899,000, common charges $282, via owner
Details:
Another two-bed, two-bath condo, this one is in a brownstone convenient to the subway hub at Atlantic Ave-Barclays. There’s a lot of wallpaper, which may be annoying to tackle if it’s not to your taste, but it could be worth it for the other details, like a jacuzzi tub, a wood-burning fireplace, and an in-unit washer/dryer.

916 Union Street, #6C
Open House:
Saturday, March 15 & Sunday, March 16, 12:30-2pm
List Price:
$589,000, maintenance $818, via Brown Harris Stevens
Details:
This co-op in a pre-war building just off Grand Army Plaza is a one-bedroom, but the listing says the current owners are using the dining room as a second bedroom. The bathroom and kitchen were recently redone, and the building is pet-friendly.

317 3rd Street, #2B
Open House:
Sunday, March 16, 12-1:30pm
List Price:
$399,000, $599 maintenance, via Apts & Lofts
Details:
The listing says this co-op is a one-bed, one-bath, and though that might be technically true, the wall in the living room that separates it from the bedroom seems a bit thin from the photo. But, if privacy isn’t a concern, then this space, which is located just across the street from the Old Stone House and surrounding park, also has a dishwasher and allows pets.
