Park Slope’s own Eugene Mirman’s 5th Annual Comedy Festival will run for 8 shows at the Bell House from September 13-16. Performers will include Sarah Silverman, Todd Barry, Elna Baker, and Bobby Tisdale as well as unannounced special guests and up-and-coming comedians. Two shows will highlight new talent: Friday night is “This is the Night These Comics Get Discovered and Become Stars!” and Saturday is “Comedians Two to Five Years Away from Their Own TV Shows” — attend and someday you’ll be able to say you saw them before they were cool. Tickets for most shows are $20 and at least one is already sold out.
Gothamist recently interviewed Mirman, read it here.
