The Park Slope Food Coop has announced the death of one of its beloved members, Billy Donald Alexis, who passed away in his home on February 11. Known to friends as Alexis, he worked at the Coop for 19 years, bringing a “warm ray of sunshine” to fellow workers in the early morning hours. Community members are coming forward to remember a man who was clearly well-loved.
@foodcoop so sad to hear about Alexis. He was the sunshine of my morning shift. Always a smile and a warm hello. RIP Alexis.
