Motherland author Amy Sohn was on CBS to talk about “Drama and Mamas in Park Slope.” Unfortunately, they didn’t ask her about the real-life mama drama brewing over Greenwood Park’s recent desicion to ban kids from the bar after 4pm. Meanwhile, the Daily News reports that a Park Slope-based theater company is creating some drama of their own — specifically, a production Othello, as performed via web-series.

But while the Bard may be getting a 21st century make-over, a bunch of new Park Slope Businesses are intent on recapturing simpler times: BK Mag celebrates the home-baked goodness of neighborhood newcomer Du Jour, HPS reports that 7th Avenue’s about to get an old-school tea shop, and Brownstoner says there’s an “experiential” arts and crafts store opening up on 5th.
