It’s been eons since I cracked open a Yellowbook and, if the stacks of canary colored bags dotting the stoops of South Slope this morning are any indication, I’m not alone. A quick visit to Yellowbook on the web revealed a link for The National Yellow Pages Consumer Choice & Opt-Out Site (that’s a mouthful), which allows you to choose the directories you want and opt-out of the ones you don’t. Registration was easier than sitting through an episode of Barney and Friends and took less than five minutes. It’s definitely worth a look-see…especially for those of us who still have last year’s Yellowbooks piled up in the vestibule.
