Easter is a couple weeks away, and it isn’t just local bakeries that are filling up with the holiday’s delicacies. Stop by the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket today, where Baker’s Bounty will be selling hot cross buns. The spiced sweet bun is traditionally eaten on Good Friday, but there’s no reason you couldn’t start a little early.
Bread Alone will also be selling some buns at the Park Slope Farmers’ Market tomorrow, along with their Irish soda bread in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
But, of course, if you aren’t in the market for some delicious carb-filled treats, all of your favorite vendors will be selling fresh fruit and veggies as well.
