It’s Saturday, which means it’s GAP Greenmarket day. Head over now through 4pm today for samples, demonstrations, and, obviously, produce. So much produce. And bring your scraps, both edible and wearable for composting/textile recycling. Someday, I will remember to do this, and then I will spend the rest of the weekend feeling virtuous. It’s going to be great.

Then tomorrow, the Park Slope Farmers’ Market, rival in green-dom, will host Clean Plate Culinary. From noon to 2pm, they’ll be demonstrating the secrets of market-fresh cooking, and not to jinx it, but I’m guessing there will be samples.
