The winter season is on its way out and it’s taking Landhaus with it. The pop-up sandwich shop opened up on Union Street back in November, warming Slopers up with their locally-sourced, hearty soups and sandwiches. The short-rib sandwich will particularly be missed, but you can still find them at Smorgasburg and Brooklyn Flea.
The good news is that warm-weather tenants People’s Pops will be back in April! Soon enough we’ll be sitting on stoops with delicious, fresh fruit ice pops melting down our hands and it’s going to be so great.
In that same vein, Uncle Louie G’s is getting ready for their opening as well. The gate was up at the Union Street location over the weekend, and word is they’ll be opening within the next two weeks.
Don’t you feel like this has just been the longest winter? Shoo, winter. We want our Italian ices and fruit pops.
