If you’re looking to expand your network, stop by The Old Stone House tonight for Small Business Schmoozefest 2013.
Organized by the Park Slope Parents Career and Networking group, the event offers a space to meet with local business owners and entrepreneurs and discuss your business and collaborative needs, new business ventures and ideas, and to share resources.
Each registered guest is given a number and one minute to give a general introduction before individual connections, so come prepared with a quick and effective self-pitch. The rest of the evening is spent shaking hands, schmoozing like a pro, and basically making it rain business cards.
The Old Stone House is located at 336 Third Street at 5th Avenue, 6:30-8:30 p.m., $15 for members ($20 for non-members), register here.
