The chill of winter is definitely here, and we’re already dreaming of warm relief. Whether you’d like to warm up inside or out (or head out of the city completely), we’ve got some ways you can stave off the cold this season.

Drink Something Warm
You can feel a hot chocolate warming you up with the first sip, and we’re lucky to have some great options in the neighborhood. The Chocolate Room’s spiced hot chocolate, Cocoa Bar’s mint hot chocolate, and Sweet Melissa’s hot chocolate with a homemade marshmallow are among our favorites.

Wear Something Warm
As the temperatures drop and you’re spending more time indoors, why not learn how to knit yourself a hat? Stitch Therapy has the yarn, the needles, and the know-how to get you going. If you’re not the crafty time, we’re about to have a lot of people who are crafty selling their stuff – including winter wear – at fairs all over the Slope.

Go Where It’s Warm
Local Pilates gym BodyTonic has opened registration for their third-annual Mexico retreat, which features daily Pilates and yoga classes, good food, and the warmth of beachfront accommodations in Tulum, Mexico for 8 days in February 15-22 in Tulum, Mexico. Registration form available here.
