Stop by Gowanus Arts this weekend and enjoy a good old-fashioned talent show. Spoke the Hub is bringing its 12th Annual Winter Follies showcase, which will feature a varied line-up of performers showing five minutes of whatever it is they do best– dance, comedy, theater, burlesque, and even clowning.
The performers are all vying for a chance to produce their own full-length performance, and you as the audience get to determine who gets it. Vote for the artist or group you would like to see more of, and the winner receives 50 hours of free rehearsal space as a well as a full weekend subsidized production of their own work in the upcoming 2013 season at Spoke the Hub’s Space at Gowanus Arts.
