Park Slope kids are a talented bunch. (I can hear two scream-singing outside my window right now!) If you’ve raised a budding performer who’s okay with a bit of competition, you might want to check out the online talent contest run by FasTracKids.
The Park Slope-based enrichment program for kids aged 2-10 is giving away a free spot in their Summer Camp Adventure to one lucky kid whose talents in speech, drama, or performing arts can win over their judges. Record a one-minute video of your child performing his or her talent and submit it to Veronica Verdino at fastrackidsny@gmail.com. The winner gets either one free week of full-day camp or two free weeks of half-day camp.
The competition runs through March 19, and the winner will be chosen on March 21. It’s open to Brooklyn residents and new members only. For more information, call (718) 260-8100.
