Person Struck by Train at 4th Avenue-9th Street Station

A man was struck by a train at the 4th Avenue-9th Street Station this morning. Gothamist reports that the incident happened just after 11:30 a.m., when the person was reportedly struck by an M train. The individual was taken to Methodist Hospital, but initial reports indicate that the victim may have been DOA on scene.

Train service has resumed at the station, with residual delays. We’ll update with more information as it comes.
