Warp and Weft, the men’s and women’s boutique at 203A Garfield Place, has closed up shop. The minimalist spot– which specialized in a sort of all-American mix of denim, button-ups, and loose tees and knits– opened as a sister store of Rivet (103 7th Avenue) last year.
The merchandise between the stores always seemed almost interchangeable, so it’s a comfort to know that we can still find much of the same just around the corner. A source at Rivet– which also has a location on Smith Street in Carroll Gardens– assures us the store is doing well.
No news yet on what’s to come for the Garfield Place location, though the former owners say they are currently using it as a storage space.
