A pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing 4th Avenue at 9th Street earlier this afternoon. According to FDNY officials, the 70-year-old man was struck at 1:08 p.m, and was pinned under the vehicle. He is in critical condition and has been transported to Lutheran Medical Center. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
